Overview

We are dedicated to providing a safe and healthy work environment to our employees, other trades and the general public. Our organization enforces a "ZERO Accident Program" setting a goal of zero accidents for every project site and employee. Having been in the construction business for over half a century we know success is only attained by sending each and every employee home to their family at the end of each workday without injury or illness. The construction industry has evolved dramatically since the start of our business in 1947; technology has enabled this industry to accelerate in many areas including safety. As a result, we have been able to quickly and efficiently educate and train each employee on specific safety topics such as:

  • confined space
  • aerial lift
  • fall protection and
  • personal protective equipment
  • CPR
  • defensive driving
  • power tool safety training

In addition to specific safety training, our organization enforces 100% protective eyewear and hardhat policies. This means hardhats and safety glasses are to be worn 100% of the time while on a construction premise.

More importantly, we recognize safe work practices are not just a "procedure," but also a behavioral-based practice. Our organization knows in order to remain successful each employee from upper management to the field has to recognize performing work safely is a personal responsibility. We strive for our employees to make safety a habit and part of daily work routines.

We also recognize the safe work practices of each of our employees by rewarding them with our Safety Incentive Program. This program provides a monetary award and reminds the employees of their accomplishments and allows us to share our success with the employees.
